iPod Touch: Still Worth It.

13 June 2008 No Comment

So it’s been mostly talk of the iPhone when the new App Store is mentioned.  But people forget or don’t know that the iPod Touch will be able to use the apps, just without the 3G.  Now, this seems like a problem.  I know.  But if you start to think of what you could do with just the iPod ouch alone, it is pretty cool.  The iPhone seems like it would be geared toward applications that ease life like schedule and other utilities.  But the iPod Touch, and maybe it is just me, seems like the way to go for entertainment.  You can have the IPT full of podcasts, games, and fun applications.  I like the idea of turning these devices into an instrument more and more.  And if you do to, you may want to get the iPod cause if you lose that or damage it, you won’t have a shit ton of information floating out there.  You got to be a little more careful with the iPhone just for all the info it carries.

Now it costs more than the iPhone, but you’re paying plans on the iPhone.  So if you just want a cool mobile device and are fine with your phone as it is now, the iPod Touch is the way to go.  Pay for it, your done.  Load it up when you are around a wi-fi and thanks to Starbucks it should be easy to do.  So, yeah, the iPhone is great.  Business and fun.  But with iPod Touch, you are getting nothing but fun.
